Cub Scout Popcorn Prizes (Fall 2002)

During the Fall of each year, Zac's Cub Scout Pack has their annual fundraiser which consists of selling popcorn. Every year we try to offer attractive prizes for the boys to encourage them to sell as much as possible. This year we purchased a couple of Stampedes from K.C. Hobby in Archdale to be the top prizes.

We bought two Stampedes RTR's. One has an ESC (RTR Part #3610), and the other has a MSC (RTR Part #3606). We also purchased two Duratrax Piranha Peak Power chargers, and 4 Duratrax 1500 battery packs. One Stampede, charger, and two battery packs will be given to the top seller in the Pack, while the others will be given to the winner of a drawing. This drawing is made up of all the boys who sold over $600 in popcorn.

Below are a few pictures taken during a Pack meeting at the height of the popcorn sale. We had the trucks set up to help motivate the boys towards their goals.

Now fast forward to a month later and we arrive at the time to give the out the top prizes. First a little speech to build the suspense...

...then the top salesman receives their Stampede.
