Our House of RC

Here you will find more than you ever wanted to know about the RC trucks that currently reside in our family. With them I have listed any aftermarket part that is being used on them. The parts are linked so that you can get a feel for the cost of an item and also get a good idea of what it looks like. Let me make it clear that I am not, in any way, endorsing any on-line hobby store, and I'm only using this as a tool to help you make a decision of whether it's a part you wish to purchase. As a matter of fact, if at all possible, I recommend making your purchases through your local hobby store. Not only will you support a local business, but if you get to know the people who work there, they can be a valuable source of information. Plus nothing beats actually seeing the physical product before you buy it. When comparing prices between your local hobby store and the online distributors, make sure you consider shipping and handling costs into the equation. Often by the time you do this, the good internet deal, doesn't seem as good as you originally thought.

One other note about shopping for RC related items. Ebay is a great place to pick up used equipment and parts. Just make sure you use your head and do a little research on the person selling the item and the item itself. While I personally have had no problems with the purchases I've made in this manner, horror stories are out there. I've also seen some people bid higher for items than they would have paid for it, if it were brand new. RC can be an expensive hobby. There's no sense to let bad judgement make it any worse.
