Latest Happenings At Misbehavin-RC

Behind The Scenes

Christmas is approaching, and I hope everyone has given their RC wish list to Santa. After all, 'tis the season for upgrades!!! Hopefully everyone will have a great Christmas and Happy New Year, as I'm taking the rest of the year off, when it comes to the website and updates. Expect to see the next update appear sometime around the middle of January. Who knows, maybe I'll even have a new video by then as well, since we now have two working T-Maxxes again. Zac's 2.5 was worn out, and he opted to take the Traxxas Engine Exchange Program. The turnaround was very quick, and he received a new motor for not much more than the replacement parts would have cost. Those .18 T-Maxx motors from Sirio and Fantom are nice, but the fact they don't offer a swap like that is a big drawback to those aftermarket options.

I hate to make mention of this next fact, but I think given some recent circumstances I feel as if I should. I recently came across a site that had taken some of my tech articles and copied and pasted them into their website. I've dedicated a large amount of time into the information on this site, with my goal for it to be a good resource for someone needing information about this hobby. When someone steals from me, or anyone else for that matter, it is nothing more than a slap in the face for all the hard work that has been performed. Everyone is entitled to a site of their own, however please don't steal from someone else's just to have a site of your own. Someone who uses that approach could also find themselves in legal trouble as many pages, including this one, are protected by copyright laws.

Latest Updates

This update brings a variety of new information to the site. I've finished several more reviews, and added several tech articles to the site as well. I had originally planned on having two more reviews finished, but due to time constraints I haven't finished with them yet. However you will find new reviews on products by Crescenzi Racing, King Headz, and MSJ Products in this round of updates.

One of the new tech articles includes information on running in the snow and ice, as this is a popular topic that comes up about this time of the year. I've also added an article on removing the Traxxas EZ-Start and replacing it with a pullstart, for those who may be interested in this swap for their nitro powered RC.

How to separate glued tires and rims is another frequently asked question in the RC community. So I've put together an article that discusses this topic and how to go about this. You'll also find a new article about repairing the antenna on your receiver. With all the abuse our trucks take, sooner or later that is an issue you'll have to face. Those who don't know how to handle swapping out their receiver's antenna now have another source to turn to for help.

There's also a few other minor updates throughout the site, such as our truck stats in the Garage area being updated and the MRC 969 being added to the Charger list. You may also notice that the menu in the Pit Lane and Review sections has changed slightly, with the addition of titles for the categories and articles. I'm hope this will further simplify the menus in those areas. Trying to keep the massive array of articles on this site organized, has almost become a job in itself!!!

With all of that, I'm outta here. I have some presents under the tree I need to do some snooping around. See you guys in 2004!!!

Until next time, keep on bashin'!!!
