Latest Happenings At Misbehavin-RC

Behind The Scenes

Well things took a little longer to bring to the site than I had originally anticipated. However, just as always, I had stuff up my sleeve that I was currently working on. Sometimes it takes me a little longer to get something finished than you might expect, but I don't like to rush things for the sake of being done by a certain time. A prime example of this is the coverage of the Revo that's been added this time around.

In addition to the site, I've also been working on some more reviews for RC Universe. One of which was the Revo, while the others will be added to the site in the upcoming weeks. I'll address them as they become published, and let me say there are some good reviews coming up. Some of these will end up being featured on this site as well, through Pit Lane articles, videos, and wallpaper.

I've had quite a few e-mails regarding the stickers come in since my last couple of updates, and I've added everyone that responded to a list of interested parties. This project moved slower than I had ever anticipated, but we're almost there. Everything is finalized, and I should get them back soon. Once they come in, I'll contact everyone on the list and let them know they are available. If you haven't contacted me yet, please do do. You can let me know your interested at eric@misbehavin-rc.com. While I've received a good response so far, more interested parties are always welcome. The sheet containing the stickers will look similar to the image below.

Latest Updates

There are several noteworthy items this time around. First of all, the Revo is now being covered on the site. While the Pit Lane section is smaller than the other trucks, it will grow as time progresses. This new truck from Traxxas is simply amazing in both handling and durability. While I'm not privy to any inside information, I will say that, in my opinion, Traxxas will be rolling this over to an electric model as well. As a matter of fact I'll make a prediction that we'll see an announcement by this time next year, possibly even at RCX.

Continuing with the Revo theme, you'll find there are two new videos available as well. Both of these focus on the Revo being run in a couple of different areas. Take notice of the ramp being used in the first of the videos. The ramp is new, and makes for some interesting jumping ability. I ended up using mostly botched jumps in the first video, as I think it does a lot to showcase the overall durability of the truck. You can read about exactly what was damaged in the Revo review.

If you are curious about the ramp used in the video, I have placed the plans and some pictures of it on the site. You'll find this article in the Pit Lane section, under General Information. Also you nitro guys may be interested in a new article regarding cooling holes that can be found in the General Nitro section. Everyone will probably find a new article about strengthening a lexan body useful.

There are several other updates throughout the site. You'll find some new wallpaper in the wallpaper section, including some of the Revo. I've also reviewed some more products from Fullforce RC and Aerosticks. As well as a review of the Losi Mini-T. So you'll want to check out those reviews as well.

There have also been several updates of existing sections of the site. The Reader's Rides area has been updated again. Anyone looking to be included in this area of the site can get more information here. I've also added a few more metal gear servos to that growing list, for those people seeking more durable and powerful servos. You'll also find that the servo saver section has been expanded as well, as it now discusses the difference between servo savers and servo horns.

Finally, I've added several links to the links section. So if you're looking to for further information about parts or information, you may want to spend some time checking out some of the provided links.

Until next time, keep on bashin'!!!
