Latest Happenings At Misbehavin-RC

Behind The Scenes

No, I haven't faded off into the abyss as some may have surmised, I'm still here and despite lack of updates in the past few months I've been very busy with articles and the hobby in general. Springtime has proven to be busier than usual, and a backup of reviews that had built up during the cooler weather threw me even further off track early in the season. Compound this with the fact I've been spending more time at the local track, and the various nuisances of real life, and it seems that time has flown by since the last update.

Even with the busy schedule, I've tried to keep working on various articles and updates on the site even though they haven't went live until now. Areas such as the Reader's Rides section has grown substantially since the last update, as I've been adding submissions as they've come in. So "idle time" is something I haven't seen a lot of!

Summer isn't even at the halfway point yet, and there's still plenty of good weather available for all of us to enjoy our hobby. So you had better believe I'll be making the most of it, and as the warmer weather starts to come to an end be on the lookout for some new videos featuring action from the past few months. A few more videos is one of the things I can't wait to get a chance to do!

In case you didn't receive a notice from my "sticker mailing list", the Misbehavin' RC stickers have arrived. Get them while you can, as I have no idea right now whether I'll venture down this path again at a later point in time. For more information regarding the stickers, look here.

Latest Updates

If you've wanted some new articles and updates to the site, you won't be disappointed. If you're looking for videos though, you'll have to wait a little longer as that's something I just haven't had a chance to work on yet. Expect some new videos a little later on this summer.

With the fact that I'm focusing my Revo a little more towards racing, I've modified it quite a bit. So you'll want to check out the Garage section of the site to take a peak into what I've done to it. You'll be greeted by items such as a rear wing modification, O.S. 18TM, and Panther Pythons. Maybe some of the items I'm using will give you a few ideas of your own. Despite the fact that my Revo is being raced some now, I'm still a basher at heart. So the truck will certainly not sit idle between races!

Some of you may notice, especially those that frequent the Traxxas forums, that the rear wing article has been on the site for a little while now despite the fact that this update makes it "official". I uploaded this article several weeks ago due to some threads and posts I saw on the Traxxas forums. I figured this would provide another alternative to the Mugen wing that many use, but so hard to obtain at times. Most of the time I do wait and apply updates at one time, but there are exceptions. This happened to be one of them.

You also may notice that my Revo is sporting a new body and paintjob as well. This took place earlier in the spring, and I think it turned out rather well utilizing a technique that I hadn't used previously. You'll find details regarding this in the Paint Shop section of the site. Other areas of the site that you may want to check out are articles regarding vehicle cleaning, tire taping (to prevent ballooning), Revo forward-only conversion, and even information showcasing my latest toolbox. Yes, I've switched again!

I've taken up enough time. I've got a Revo to work on and daylight to burn. Enjoy the update, and if all goes well, the next update won't take as long to arrive!

Until next time, keep on bashin'!!!
